1. How old can a dog start mantrailing?
You can start this sport with any old dog. Both a 10-week-old puppy and an older dog enjoy searching, they can be trained at any age.
2. What equipment do I need for mantrailing?
You need a harness for your dog and a treat, it's worth bringing his favorite toy as well. We are using a 10-meter long leash, but we will gladly lend you a leash, if you don't have one, you can get it later.
3. Can I do mantrailing with a fearful dog?
Yes, it is very good for the self-confidence of dogs to search together with the owner and to have a lot of sense of achievement. It is also recommended for therapeutic purposes for insecure, fearful dogs.
4. How long does a training session take, until then where is my dog? Could my dog hide with me?
For the first time, you can count on about 50 minutes so that we have time to talk about the training and about you. Please arrive at least 15 minutes before the traning starts. Usually the dogs of the runners are waiting in the cars, we do not take them with us during the hiding.
5. My goal is the IRO exam. Can I train with you?
